2009 Special Events

Hospice Rocks 2009

Friday, September 11th the Community Hospice Foundation held its third annual Hospice Rocks fund-raiser. Over 150 guests attended and enjoyed dinner, desserts, and dancing while listening to the music of the Jeff Pfeiffer & Tom Powell Duo, an acoustic performance by Cory Chisel, and Streetlife with Warren Wiegratz. The event raised over $29,000 for hospice services in the Fox Valley. Those attending also had the opportunity to win raffle prizes consisting of a Fox Valley restaurant package, a Cory Chisel autographed guitar, an entertainment package and much more. Thank you to everyone who supported the event!

Light Up the Night for Hospice – Hope, Care, Comfort 2009

 Tuesday, October 6, 2009 – Waupaca Ale House

Tuesday, October 6th the Community Hospice Foundation held its fourth-annual Light Up the Night for Hospice ~ Hope, Care, Comfort fund-raiser for hospice patients in the Waupaca Community and surrounding communities. Over 100 guests attended and enjoyed dinner and participated in silent auctions, and raffles for wine, a flat screen TV and jewelry. The evening was highlighted by a testimonial by Pat Osmuss, who shared some of her touching experiences as a hospice volunteer. The event raised $24,000 to help grant final wishes to hospice patients in the Waupaca community and surrounding area. Thank you to everyone who supported the event!
